How it works
Three steps, and only the third is one you do yourself. The first two happen in the van.
Scan
The engineer points a phone at the QR code on the cylinder or the unit. CertiFlow knows which installation it is, which refrigerant it holds, and what the cylinder’s last balance was.
Book
The booking form is already filled in. The engineer picks the action and enters the quantity. The CO₂ equivalent is calculated and fixed at that moment.
Export
When someone asks for your records, you download them. The logbook and the installation overview come out as CSV or XLSX, with everything that belongs in them.

Your engineer scans, you stop retyping
A QR code on the cylinder or on the unit opens a booking that is already filled in with what is known: refrigerant, last balance, installation. Photographing a nameplate registers a new installation on the spot. What the engineer enters in the van is in your records immediately.
A logbook nobody can edit afterwards — including us
Updates and deletes are blocked in the database itself, not in the application. A correction is a new row referencing the original, with a stated reason; the original stays visible. Exactly what an auditor wants: a trail that could not have been smoothed over.
A cylinder cannot give out more than it holds
A booking that would push a cylinder’s balance negative is refused before it is stored, naming the cylinder and the shortfall. The discrepancy never exists, so you never have to explain it in December.
GWP and CO₂ equivalent are fixed at the moment of booking
30 refrigerants with GWP, safety class and regulatory status. The CO₂ equivalent is calculated and stored when the entry is created, so a later update to the table never rewrites your history.

What your engineers notice
An engineer who has to do three extra things to record something records nothing. So the field side of CertiFlow is not a shrunken dashboard: it is its own screen, with large buttons, opening on whatever is needed right now.

And without a signal?
No, CertiFlow does not work without a connection. That is a deliberate choice rather than a gap we still have to close: a cylinder balance served from a cache can be out of date, and a booking made against a stale balance then sits permanently in your logbook. In a plant room with no signal, your engineer books the moment they step outside — using the scan they already made inside.
And when an engineer gets it wrong?
That is exactly the right question to ask about a logbook you cannot edit. The answer is that correcting is possible, and that the trail it leaves protects you rather than convicting you.

- Only someone with the right to correct can do it — engineers book, managers correct
